CCTV Systems

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is a visual surveillance technology with the capability to monitor a variety of environments and activities. A communication link that is generally used between the CCTV security camera and monitor and can include full pan, tilt and zoom functionality. A CCTV security camera can be remotely operated from a control room and can be used to greatly improve the security of your estate.A security camera will detect an intruder when the viewer senses movement and the image can be viewed instantly by an on-site manned control room. Alternatively, images can be streamed simultaneously along with an alarm signal back to an Alarm Response Centre (ARC) representative. Fibre Optics

Should you require installation of fibre optics cables to carry Ethernet, serial Data, CCTV, or satellite signals then Lenstronic Communications & Security Solutions can provide the solution to your needs.

Fibre optic cabling has the following advantages over copper cabling:

Less expensive - Several miles of optical cable can be made cheaper than equivalent lengths of copper wire. This saves your provider (cable TV, Internet) and you money.

Thinner - Optical fibers can be drawn to smaller diameters than copper wire.

Higher carrying capacity - Because optical fibers are thinner than copper wires, more fibers can be bundled into a given-diameter cable than copper wires. This allows more phone lines to go over the same cable or more channels to come through the cable into your cable TV box.

Less signal degradation - The loss of signal in optical fiber is less than in copper wire.

Light signals - Unlike electrical signals in copper wires, light signals from one fiber do not interfere with those of other fibers in the same cable. This means clearer phone conversations or TV reception.

Digital signals - Optical fibers are ideally suited for carrying digital information, which is especially useful in computer networks.

Non-flammable - Because no electricity is passed through optical fibers, there is no fire hazard.

Lightweight - An optical cable weighs less than a comparable copper wire cable. Fiber-optic cables take up less space in the ground.

Flexible - Because fiber optics are so flexible and can transmit and receive light, they are used in many applications

Euro Locks

Euro Clyinder Locks are the type fitted to most types of UPVC Doors and also to most kinds of new Properties.

No Matter how elaborate the locking mechanaise is on the door, five point, hooks coming out of the door etc, The lock is the only part that stops these locking systems from opening.

There are a number of ways that intruders are gaining access to properties that use these types of locks :-

Good Old Fashion lock picking

The top two in the list are becomming the fastest growing way to gain access to your property, both ways are easy to perform, quick, simple, & quiet.

Lock Snapping involves breaking the lock in two and can be seen from the picture opposite this then allows the handle to be pulled down and entry gained

Lock Bumping is slightly more involved and employs the use of a specially cut bump key, but these are becomming increasing avalible on the internet, this key fools the lock into think the correct key has been inserted and the lock turns , once again intruder gains access, this way leaves no signs of forced entry & you will be luckly if your insurance company will payout.
